Seeds: Women's 12-Week Program Fall 2019

Kisty Stephens, founder of nonprofit organization Sparrow's Voice Inc., has written this dynamic program which is currently being offered by the Denver County Probation Department to offer compassion-based therapy for working with women offenders and addictions. S.E.E.D.S as an acronym: Sustainable Education Empowering Discovery Sessions, aids participants to sustain daily addiction-free living by attending a total of 12 week education modules that cover: Program Introduction, Mindfulness, Addiction Education, Relapse Prevention, Thoughts & Behaviors, Emotion Regulation, Deservability, Living with Intention, Getting Through Difficult Feelings, Forgiveness, My Ideal Life, and Closing/Program Graduation.
The S.E.E.D.S Program Women's Group will meet once per week for 2 hours, for a total of 12 weeks or 24 hours. All participants must be at least 18 years of age, clean and sober a minimum of 6 weeks before our first group session (preferred but not absolute) and should have a writing and reading 8th grade comprehension level.
Attendance of each module is mandatory for participants to receive their S.E.E.D.S diploma at their program graduation. Details for September dates and times to follow...Healing is possible!
